On Thursday, October 13 the preschool classes took a Field Trip to Sigmon Farm where they were able to interact with different animals, visit the pumpkin patch to collect their own pumpkin, and enjoy a picnic. Thanks to Sigmon Farm for helping us have a great time!
A big thank you to the Brindle Ridge Volunteer Fire Department for coming to our classroom to teach us about Fire Safety. The students learned about what to do in case of a fire. They were also able to see the firefighters in their gear and see the fire trucks!
October 3-6 we spent the week learning all about apples. As a special treat at the end of the week the students were able to enjoy caramel apples.
On October 3 the student were able to take a nature walk around the perimeter of the school to collect leaves and other items of nature to examine more closely in the classroom. The students really enjoyed going for the walk and looking for different color leaves and other items in nature. Am PreschoolPM PreschoolWe have added two new friends to our classroom! Two new guinea pigs came to join our classroom and the students have really enjoyed petting them and learning how to take care of them.
